Anmon Waterfall ー
暗門の滝
Three big waterfalls flow from the Anmon, and the promenade reach the ‘third waterfall’ firstly,
then ‘the second waterfall’ and the highest one ‘the first waterfall’ from the waterfall entrance.
The waterfall outskirts are masculine scenes among steep rocks,
and during the journey is the beauty spot of beech forests of Mount Shirogami can be seen.
It is a three-hour trail for seeing the forest and clear stream.
There is an aqua green village ANMON of the visitor center at the entrance, and it is a one-day hot spring, too.
In addition, there is another route via the beech forest walk trail,so visitors are recommended to choose the above one or a double-way trail of splendid beech forest through the waterfall of Anmon.
Yet, it is only used during the period between the middle or the end of June and beginning of November because it is a heavy-snow area.
