It takes 5 to 6 hours to have a round-trip trail.
Tourists may feel the powerful charm of the rock and mossed primitive forest by walking along the stream
in the forest of the Yaku cedars, which is really a highlight trail.
Though it is not a difficult trail, it may be a long-walk trail if it is not confirmed.
Taikoiwa is a superb view prospect spot of the beauty of mountain areas in Yakushima,
and it is the only trail that climbing is possible.
Access and Getting Around
By bus
Miyanoura Port⇔(35 minutes)⇔Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine with 4 round-trip buses per day,
and a long course of 5,6 hours. By car: 2 km from Miyanoura Port for 30 minutes.
