Yakesugi Land has 4 courses(30minutes, 50 minutes, 80 minutes, 150 minutes).
The 30-minute trail and 50-minute one are light cycling trail,
there are recommended to the visitors who want to experience the forest a little.
Because a trail is built and the atmosphere of the forest of Yakushima can be enjoyed,
these two trails are recommended to those who have no time or lack physical strength.
80-minute and 150-minute trail are for getting around the Yaku cedars and trekking trails.
Mount Tachudake is 1500meters of sea level and 8 kilometers for a round-trip.
It takes 6 to 7 hours to climb up to the mountaintop and down to the foot the mountain.
There is a huge rock called Tenchu Stone from which a splendid scene can be seen.
Access and Getting Around
It is on the way to Kigensugi, tourists can reach the entrance of the mountain by car or bus.
By bus
Miyanoura⇔(40 minutes)⇔Awa Port⇒(10 minutes)⇔Yaku Cedar Nature Building⇔(30 minutes)⇔Yaksugi Land. Please be aware that there are only two round-trip buses between Yaku Cedar Natural Building and Yak-cedar Land.
By car
17 km from Awa Port to Yaksugi Land for 35 minutes.
