Shuri Castle is the biggest castle in Okinawa and has been restored from the destruction of World War II.
Shuri ruins of the castle and the neighboring facilities and buildings are registered in the World Heritage of the UNESCO.
Shuri Castle was greatly affected by the Chinese castle, so the gates and building are painted with red, and dragons
which are symbols of kings are used mainly.
In addition, it may be rebuilt in the Ryukyu dynasty period without wars and becomes different from other castles of Japan at all
because it was designed for political use rather than military use.
