  • Outdoor Activities

Mt. Iwaki is a volcano of 1625 meters above sea level which is the support of the people of Hirosaki

and the target of worship since a long ago just as Mount Fuji, on the top of which is Iwakisan Shrine.

The mountain is seen from anywhere of Hirosaki.

The beautiful mountain is called Tsugaru Fuji.

Get a shuttle bus to ‘8-gome’ stop, then a lift takes to 9-gome, so it takes totally 45 minutes to climb up to the mountaintop.

Tsugaru Plain seen from the mountaintop is panoramically fantastic.

Around the mountain foot, there are many hot springs, staying here for a night is not bad.
