Heroic festival and antiquity：
Aomori City is prefectural seat of Aomori that is the northernmost prefecture of Honshu. There is ferry Port for Hakodate, Hokkaido and the terminal of Tohoku Shinkansen, which make the city become an important point of transportation. It is really a tourist city with its famous summer festival, antiquities, hot springs and volcanic topography.
Access and Getting Around
It is the terminal of some JR Lines,and a direct train to Tokyo is available. Planes, from Aomori Airport arrive at Tokyo and other Japanese cities and Seoul, Korea. It is also a base point bound for Hokkaido by train or ferry. If you ride a ferry only, you can take a shuttle bus from Aomori Station to Aomori Ferry Terminal. 6 shuttle buses per day.
By train
3 hours from Tokyo to Shin Aomori Station via the Tohoku Shinkansen, transfer at Aomori Station with 1 train per 20 minutes.
By bus
9 hours 30 minutes from Tokyo by night bus with 3 bus services per day.
By plane
