The traditional samurai residences are preserved well here.

Some residences are open to the public free of charge,

which makes visitors know about the lives of ancient samurais.

If more than five people make a reservation for their sizes in advance,

they can experience Kimono wearing. Visitors also may buy a kimono and take it with them.

Access and Getting Around

It is 2 km from Izumi Station and takes 30 minutes to walk.

A bicycle can be rented at the tour information center.

In addition, tours buses run round frequently.
