The charm of Asuke is  in the town, and the feature of the town

which prospered as a stage of the town called Sanshu ever has been still preserved.

The traditional buildings such as the storehouse of the white wall, the lattice door

and the black boarded walls form the very tasteful town.

Access and Getting Around

It is inconvenient to get by train or by bus, so it is better by car.

By train and bus

2 hours 20 minutes from Tokyo Station to Toyohashi Station

by the Tokaido Shinkansen with 1 train per 30 minutes,

transfer a train to Higashi-okazaki Station by the Meitetsu Line ,

25 minutes with 1 train per 30 minutes,

lastly to Asuke by bus per 1 to 2 hours.

By bus

45 minutes from Toyota-shi Station with 11 buses per day.

No bus service from 11:00 to 15:00. 1 hour from Toyota-shi Station to Asuke

via Josui Station 1 bus per hour.

By car

4 hours 15 minutes from Tokyo Station,

40 minutes from Toyota-shi Station.
