From Kumano Hongu to Kumano Hayatama ー
熊野本宮大社―熊野速玉大社

It is a route called “the Prayer Way of the River “going down the Kumano River,
and go down to Kumano-hayatama-taisha by boat.
Taking a bus bound for Kumano Kawabune Center(Kumano River Barge center), Hitari Bus Stop,
then going down the river by boat is commonly used now.
Access and Getting Around
It takes 90 minutes to go down the river.
Beware that only two bus services are available, one in the morning, the other at noon.
A pick-up bus is available after getting off the boat.
From Kumano Hongutaisha (one-way)
Depart at 8:40 and 13:20 from Kumano Hongu-taisha to Hilary Bus Stop by bus, then 90 minutes to Shingu Station by boat.
From Shingu Station(a round-trip)
Depart at 8:20 and 12:15 from Shingu Station to Hilary Bus Stop, then 90 minutes to Shingu Station by boat.
