Ukai or cormorant fishing is a traditional fishery to have continued 1300 years in Japan
that a person in a boat handles a cormorant, and fishes.
Tourists can watch the event on a sightseeing boat from bank of the Kiso River during June 1 and October 15.
Particularly, night Ukai is emotional the summer of Japan can be experienced.
Because meals are included, a reservation is necessary three days in advance.
When there is no meal, the night cormorant fishing is possible even a day before.
A reservation from the hotel is acceptable.
