Access and Getting Around
By bus
There are 2 round trips per day from Matsumoto Station to Shinhodaka Onsen-eki(Ropeway Station),
a 2- hour bus ride, or from Matsumoto Station to Shirayu Onsen,
1 hour 25 minutes with 6 round trips per day , transfer to a bus , 40 minute with 15 round trips per day,
and also there is another bus service from Takayama in Gifu Prefecture.
By car
17 km from Hirayu Onsen, 67 km from Matsumoto Station.
