Obi Castle and the Town ー
飫肥城と城下町

Obi Castle is one of the areas of Nichinan City where Udo Shrine is also located.

The castle sites, samurai houses and shops remain nearly unchanged and are maintained very neatly.

3 to 4 hours is enough to go round the castle on foot.

A tourism course including Udo Shrine is better. Rental bicycles are offered.

Access and Getting Around

By train

Take a train at Miyazaki Station and get off at JR Obi Station of the Nichinan Line with 1 train per hour.

By bus

2 hours 10 minutes from Miyazaki Station with 10 buses per day.
