The Nakijin Castle was built in the thirteenth century and is the ruins of a castle where only a stone wall is left now.

The wall stone among forests remain unchanged, and the view of the sea is good because it is on the hill.

It is at the side of Nakijin History Cultural Center where people can learn the history of northern Okinawa Island,

and the display is interesting.

2 hours 30 minutes from Naha Airport to Nakijin Village office. 8 buses runs each day.

Then 8 minutes from Nakijin Village office to Nakijin Castle Site.

By car

7 km from the center of Nakijin Village.

It takes about 15 minutes.
