Access and Getting Around

A rental car is the easiest way because bus services are so few. A parking lot is nearby.

There is a trail around the shoreline from the cape and can be thoroughly enjoyed splendid scenery.

It takes 2 hours to walk around the shoreline from the cape.

Buses from Otaru and Sapporo arrive here.

From JR Otaru Sta. for Kamuimisaki via Irika, 1.50 hours, 5 round trip buses per day, get off at Shimamuikaigan Entrance, 15 minutes to walk.

From JR Sapporo Sta. for Kamuimisaki, 2.40 hours, 1 round trip per day, get off at Shimamuikaigan Entrance.
