Fukuoka has a population of about 1.5 million people that makes it the largest city in Kyushu. The Kyushu government offices, tourism, transportations are largely based here. But despite of being the largest city it is home for old castles and temples. It has completely rich traditional cultures that are celebrated during festivals.

Fukuoka has its own airport that serves both domestic and international flights and has direct bullet trains services from other big cities. It has also scheduled bus services. Fukuoka offers two subway lines, It can be accessed the main places of the city center and airport.
