The Japanese fireworks are considered to be the world’s most precise, and splendid, and the Nagaoka fireworks of Niigata Prefecture are particularly famous in Japan. It is a large- scale fireworks display where 20000 fireworks are launched in two days, which is held for mourning of the war dead and the revival of the earthquake disaster on August 2 to 3. Access and Getting Around
It is easy to get to Nagaoka City by the Joetsu Shinkansen . During the fireworks display period, Shinkansen trains from Tokyo will be increased. It takes 20 minutes to walk from Nagaoka Station the display site, a temporary bus is also available. Yet, parking lots are crowded with vehicles. If possible, park your car at another parking lot and use a temporary bus, public transport.
