The Shimanto River is a clear stream in Japan flowing through Ehime Prefecture and Kochi Prefecture, and there are no man-made constructions such as dams along the river where the fishermen of the river fish lives a life and the original scenery remains most even now in Japan. It is a river where its beauty changes every season. Many people visit here for outdoor sports such as cycling or canoeing along the river.

Access and Getting Around

City is a town in the southwestern part of Kochi Prefecture of Shikoku facing the Pacific, and, as for the train, the JR Yodo line and the Tosa Kuroshio Railway are available. Because the public transport is a little inconvenient, and it is not on the base line of Shikoku, it is necessary to take enough time making a plan.
