Himekawa Headwaters Nature Park ー
姫川源流自然探園

It is on the north of Lake Aoki, and near the Sanosaka Ski Area.

You can hike along pure spring waters, and see wild flowers in spring.

From the end of April to mid of May is the best season to see flowers in bloom.

Also, there is Oyomi Marsh that has various marsh wild flowers with about a 20 minute-walk trail

in the neighborhood.

It gives us a pleasant time.

Access and Getting Around

A rental bicycle is recommended from Hakuba Station due to infrequent train services.

There are shuttle bus services from Hakuba Station in summer only.

By train

The JR Oito Line, get off at Minamikamishiro Station,

12 minutes from Hakuba Station with 1 train per 1～2 hours.

By car
