Norikura-kogen is the hillside of Mount Norikura.

It is well known as summer resorts, climbing and hiking activities, autumn color viewing, and ski resorts.

There are also many onsen resorts around there, so many tourists visit for bathing only.

Access and Getting Around

By train and bus

The Matsumoto Line, 30 minutes from Matsumoto Station to Shinshimashima Station,

transfer to a bus, a 50- minute bus ride from Shinshimashima to Norikura-kogen.

By car

1 hour 10 minutes from Matsumoto Station. 40 minutes from Hirayu Onsen.
