Senganen Park is about 15,000 square meters of its site.
The wide garden was originally built by the lord of Shimazu family who governed the area.
It is the symbol of Kagoshima.
People could not help admiring the clan’s power to build such a garden who changed the history of Japan.
There are buildings and historic sites of the Edo period here and there in the garden.
