Mount Kaimondake
開聞岳

  • Mountain View

Mount Kaimondake is located at the south end of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima,

which is a volcano of 924 meters above sea level.

It becomes the volcanic body directly from the sea, and it is also called another Satsuma Fuji

for its wonderful conic image of mountain.

The beautiful mountain can be seen from different parts of the Satsuma Peninsula.

The silhouette shining in the sunset is particularly a superb view.
