Kanzeon-ji Temple was built in 746, only two halls still remain,
but the Japanese oldest bell is kept there and huge Buddha Statues of five meters high are especially symbolic.
It is worth seeing though fee is charged.

It is 1.5 km to the southwest of Tenmangu Shrine and a 15-minute walk.
