Genko Museum
元寇資料館

  • Historic Sites

Genko Museum is famous for its manuscript of the Mongol empire invasion in the middle ages.

It also exhibits artilleries of both the Mongol and samurai armor and painting depicting the war.

It is in the East Park with the Fukuoka prefectural government.

The ruin of the battle of Genko remains in the coastal part of Fukuoka.
