Beautiful beach of the inlet and hot springs: 

The Izu Peninsula is located to the south of Hakone, and it is the warmest area in the East Japan under the influence of the warm current and close to Tokyo geographically, the whole peninsula has been developed into a spa resort with many hot springs on it. West Izu is not a big tourist area, but there are a few scenic spots such as the shore, the cliff and the inlet extending, and the view of Mount Fuji can be seen from everywhere, which is its characteristic.

Access and Getting Around

Because the Shinkansen and the expressway, the Japanese main artery, which link Osaka to Tokyo, go through the gate city of the peninsula, it is really convenient to get there. A train of the Izu-Hakone Line runs from Mishima Station to Shuzen-ji Onsen, and then a bus takes you to the destination. In addition, the sight-seeing from the sea by Cruise is the highlight of the tour here. Mishima City and Shimoda City located in the southernmost part of the peninsula are the gates of the West Izu.

By car
